I am Possum

Mud covered,

Unshaven,

Drenched in sweat,

This is how I feel most beautiful.

My body is pushing its limits,

My mind is focused and clear,

My soul is at peace.  

I feel most comfortable within myself when I am hiking. 

I love my big legs for the places they can take me.

I love my belly for helping me breathe.

I love my arms for driving more power.

And when I am in the woods,

I don't think about how my hair looks,

I don't worry about the way my clothes lay on my body,

I don't even care that I smell.

In the woods I am beautiful, I am strong, I am Possum.
